While the term "Informed Consent" is used for medical treatment, it seems to be relevant to government, or at least to me it seems to be the goal of democracy. The job of the government is to provide for the management of a democracy via the informed consent of the people of the nation.
If I were POTUS, I would do my job with the informed consent of the people. I would try to understand what the citizens want and weigh that heavily in proposed actions, legislation, and endeavors.
